This Privacy Policy describes how Fundraiser Display ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when you connect your Square account and use our fundraiser-total display service.
When you authorise the app via Square OAuth, we receive and store:
We read but do not store individual orders or customer data. Order records are fetched from Square in real time, aggregated into a running total, briefly cached in memory (up to 60 seconds), and then discarded.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
All data is stored server-side as encrypted-at-rest JSON files on the host running this application. No data is stored in the browser beyond a short-lived session cookie that identifies your logged-in state.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only external service we communicate with is Square's API, as required to retrieve order totals for your connected account.
While connected: Your OAuth tokens, merchant record, and fundraiser configurations are retained for as long as your account is active so that display URLs continue to work.
On disconnect: When you click "Disconnect" in the dashboard, we immediately revoke your access token with Square and scrub all OAuth tokens from our storage. Your merchant record is deactivated (marked inactive) and token fields are cleared. Fundraiser configuration files may be retained for up to 30 days for operational continuity, after which they are permanently deleted.
To request immediate deletion of all stored data associated with your account, contact us at the address listed below. We will complete deletion within 30 days of your request.
This app accesses Square data under your authorisation. Square's own collection and use of your data is governed by the Square Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in functionality or legal requirements. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above.
